Thank goodness we have a senate in this country this week the senate delivered what our forefathers put in place many years ago, balance In politics with the rejection of a huge tax grab cleverly veiled in the form of the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) Kevin Rudd and his government have been working very hard over the last couple of years to capitalize on people feeling of guilt or fear and indoctrination that has be instilled into the populous about climate change and so called global warming. It is important to look after the environment everybody knows this but can somebody explain how taxing the Australian people out of existence will reduce emissions in this country or across the planet. Would it not be more sensible to come up with a plan to offer incentive to people and companies to be innovative with research and development focused on becoming much more energy efficient. Look at things that have come out of this country the black box flight recorders, wireless router technology, Scramjet, Ultrasound, Pacemaker, Refrigerator, Thrust Bearing, Zinc Cream to the first Solar Hot Water Heater invented in the 1950s and the list goes on.

Its obvious the Rudd Labor Government has not got the sense to see what great potential this country and its people have to solve problems and be innovative, all they can come up with is tax them out of existence, tax things till you break an economy and countries foundation. It will be interesting to see what policy will come from Tony Abbotts leadership its nice to know the tax grab is of the addenda, it’s a bout time the liberal party stood up against a Government full of spin, lies and absolute hypocrisy.

I am sitting in My son's flat at Koongal, Rockhampton - Look out from Bedroom window, pleasant suburban view. Go to the kitchen window, the blackened hills of the Berserker Ranges. Last weekend a listner phoned in to abc australia all over - said he saw with own eyes just other day planes fire bomb shoelwater bay! What good does that do to the reef? They blame sugar cane farmers, turn blind eye to the remainder!
