Mal has jumped off the deep end and there's no water in the pool, he has made up his mind to commit political suicide by making the meaningless move of crossing the floor on the ETS and joining his Labor Mates!
I think the Liberal Party should be asking for his resignation about now or at least repudiating his actions as detrimental to the Party. They should be isolating him and blocking him from preselection for his Seat of Wentworth.
Liberal Party members have been kicked out of the Party for a lot less, what the hell are they waiting for? This guy has gone mental and you keep him around to disparage the Party? I wonder what the thought process is here?

A breath of fresh air has blown into the LNP, that is young Aidan McLindon the MP for Beaudesert has stated the obvious, accusing the LNP of losing direction and needing to make a fresh appeal to young voters. Another words "Viking Boy" appeals to no one and his position on the LNP ticket as Deputy assures the LNP defeat in the next Queensland State election.
Last April I wrote on this blog the same thing when "Viking Boy" took the Deputy position. You know he's just waiting in the wings for his National Party Mates to sweep JPL from the leadership, so "Viking Boy" can have another shot at premiere! If "Viking Boy" stays on as Deputy, bet your bottom dollar he regains the leadership of LNP just before the next election!
Mr. McLindon, knows the truth of the coming defeat and has warned the Party that the change needs to be made NOW!
Thank you Aidan for having the courage to state the obvious!
Now I have heard it all, the Prime Minister of Australia encouraging Australian's to take advantage of the $1600 government's solar hot water hand-out in a radio ad.
"Hello Kevin here!", oh and the best part is "and don't miss out on your fair shake of the sauce bottle." Now we have a sincere message from a true man of the people, pardon me while I vomit!
This is beyond pathetic, it's the sign of a failed prime minster grasping for straws, any straws even those that cheapen the office of Prime Minister of Australia! Kevin you will do anything for a vote!
I know I'm a few days late on this story, but when it happened (a Republican taking the safest Democrat senate seat in the USA) Scott Brown became the can do Republican! Mr. Obama and all the Democrats had figures any git could run and win Ted Kennedy's senate seat, after all it would always be a Democrat seat. The Democrats choose a lackluster female candidate who decided that she really didn't need to campaign much, because all she had to do was just keep her head down and show up for election day.
The Republicans on the other hand with the help of the Tea Party organization people brought in campaign workers from all over the United States. There goal was to win that seat by plan hard work and muscle. Scott Brown drove an old GMC pick-up truck all around Massachusetts, he campaigned at the grassroots level bonding with Joe Public to win the election on facts and the the dismal economic record of the Obama presidency.
This is what will happen to Krudd in Australia, all the Lib's need to show is the reckless spending of this out of control PM and how little regard he has for the Australian taxpayer.
As for Scott Brown he won with 52% of the vote and 100,000 vote lead when the dust settled on the biggest Democratic senate defeat in two centuries. This is a great example of hard work and perseverance.
I had a call from a friend to relate a very interesting story regarding one of my favorite Liberal Party political operators HRH Colin Ford, you remember the one time bodyguard for (Deidre) and strong arm enforcer, and head-kicker of the local Liberal Party in Cairns.
Apparently an autographed framed photo circa 1951 of Prime Minster Robert Menzies was acquired at an deceased sale last weekend. Mr. Ford found out that the photo had turned up at Kinsella's Antiques on Sheridan Street in North Cairns. He tracked down the photo and yesterday fronted-up at the shop and confronted Debra Kinsella (owner of shop) that he heard from his close associate the former Mayor Kevin Byrne by telephone that the photograph was for sale at the estate sale and to hurry back from New York. The Ford's obviously missed the sale and Colin was seeking this significant piece of Country Liberal Party history. He related to Deb and Paul Kinsella that the photograph was bequeath to his wife Deidre Ford, Further to that Colin informed Deb that a letter in an envelope was taped to the back of the photo frame and that would confirm that fact that Deidre was Willed the photo. Deb checked the back of the frame and found no envelope and in fact not even a sticky tape mark was found on the back of the frame either.
Colin then indicated that he was aware that the Kinsella's had paid only $10 for the photo and that he would pay $15 for the photo giving the Kinsella's a tidy 50% profit on the photo. Deb smiled and informed Colin that amount would not be adequate compensation for the photo. Colin then informed Deb that Karma, bad Karma was coming her way for not selling the photo to him and as he started to storm out of the shop when Paul informed Colin that he was out of line and shouldn't be saying things like that to his wife!
Deb Kinsella added the following,
Mr Fords intimidation to sell him the photo included:
quote "Is that how you repay her after all Deidre did for you" unquote
I was totally baffled by this as I do not know Deidre Ford personally and have only ever had one very brief encounter with Cr Ford as our local political representative to absolutely no avail.
Because I'm always interested in what mischief the Ford's tend to get themselves into, I decided to visit the Kinsella's shop and check-out the controversial photo of PM Menzies and photograph it for this blog (see above)!
It never ceases to amaze me how the Ford's think there mindless intimidation is ever going to get people to cooperate with them. I guess that's why Deidre is no longer involved with local politics. People in Cairns are just fed-up with there lack of respect for others in the community.
Advice for the Ford's stop intimidating people it just doesn't work! Oh and by the way give my regards to your Mate Geoff Greene!
"The bitter winter afflicting much of the Northern Hemisphere is only the start of a global trend towards cooler weather that is likely to last for 20 or 30 years, say some of the world’s most eminent climate scientists."
Finally the scientist are admitting that the Climate Alarmist are dead wrong about global warming and catastrophic climate change and a fraud on the world has been perpetrated! Funny how Krudd is so silent after his Copenhagen failure and has to send "What's Wong" to address the media on the government catastrophic failure in Copenhagen!
Ina Plimer and all the clear thinking Climate scientist have said that the likelihood of a mini Ice Age is more certain than global warming! Thank G_d for Tony Abbott stopping the great tax fraud the Emission Taxation Scam, now to work for destroying this Communist front of a government and sending them back to opposition!
Last weekend I attended the unavailing of the most beautiful piano I have ever laid my eyes or ears on. Whitfield House has acquired from Steinway and Sons a magnificent Model B Music Room Grand Piano. This piano is a staggering 6' 10 1/2" (211 cm) and the sound is even more beautiful than the deep black lacquer finish.
Whitfield House is the premiere events and wedding venue in North Queensland. The owner/operators Joy (pictured above) and Henry Glennie have now added the premiere piano to make all special events just that much more perfect.
The addition of the Steinway is a fantastic contribution to the community and Joy & Henry should get a big thank you from the music community!
I won't be posting until the new year and I just wanted to thank the tens of thousands of readers both in Australia and around the world who love and contribute to The Northern Truth.
And If I offended anyone in the past year, sorry but you deserved it!
